Terms of Service

1. Who runs the Service

The Service is operated by 株式会社Deer (Deer, Inc.).

2. Accounts and lands

Using the Service requires logging in. There is no password — you’re let in with a code sent to your email address. Once logged in, a single button creates a land.

• A land can be opened only by the person who created it and by people who logged in with an invited address. Knowing the URL is not enough.
• Invitations are sent to an email address. Even if the invitation email is forwarded, only someone logging in with that address can join the team. If you send one to the wrong address, you can revoke it.
• Logging in with the same email address brings you back to your list of lands from any device.
• Only the person who created a land can delete it. Deletion cannot be undone.

3. Pricing and payment

The Service has a range you can use for free and plans we charge for. What each plan includes and what it costs is on the pricing page. All prices shown include tax. Paid plans are still being prepared; we’ll say so inside Scrand when they start. Until then, what’s written on the pricing page is available to you as it stands.

• Charges are per land. However many people are in a single land, the amount doesn’t change.
• Payment is by credit card. The Business plan can also be paid by invoice (bank transfer).
• Monthly plans renew every month and yearly plans every year, on the same date, automatically. Each renewal is charged in advance for the period that follows.
• No credit card is needed to try it. From creating a land until you close your first sprint, you get the same access as the Team plan.

If payment stops, this is what happens.

• Nothing is deleted. Sprints, cards, notes, and images you added all remain.
• You return to the Free plan. You can see the last 3 sprints, so the range you can open narrows.
• Anything over the Free plan’s limits (number of lands, number of members, storage) becomes read-only. You can still read it.
• Pay again and everything returns immediately.

There is no cancellation process. Stop the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for, after which you return to the Free plan. You don’t need to contact support or click through a screen trying to keep you. If you no longer need the land itself, whoever created it can delete it.

We don’t refund the remaining days when you stop partway through a period. The same goes for yearly plans. That said, if the Service was unavailable for a long stretch because of something on our side, please get in touch and we’ll work it out individually.

When prices or what a plan includes change, we’ll say so inside Scrand at least 30 days before the new price takes effect. Periods you have already paid for are not repriced. If the new price doesn’t work for you, stop the renewal before the next one.

4. What you may and may not put in

The rights to what you put in — cards on the board, notes, images and video you attach (“your content”) — belong to you or to the rights holder. We do not take ownership of it.

Please don’t do any of the following.

• Anything against the law or public order and morals
• Infringing someone else’s rights (copyright, trademarks, privacy, and so on)
• Impersonating someone else, or harassing them
• Interfering with how the Service runs (excessive automated access, exploiting vulnerabilities, and the like)
• Guessing at URLs of lands you have no access to in order to find them

Content or lands we judge to fall under the above may be deleted without notice.

5. Changes and interruptions

The Service may change, pause temporarily, or end without notice. We can’t promise it will stay available in the same form forever. We will, however, announce it inside Scrand in advance if we are ending the Service itself.

Please don’t keep important data only inside the Service. We don’t currently offer a way to export a backup.

6. Limits of our responsibility

The Service is provided as is. We don’t warrant that it is free of defects, that it fits your purpose, or that data will never be lost.

We are not liable for damages arising from using the Service or from being unable to use it, except where we acted intentionally or with gross negligence.

7. Connecting outside services

You can connect tools such as Claude and Codex over MCP. How the connected tool behaves, and what it stores, is governed by that tool provider’s own terms. Whether to connect is your choice.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Japanese law. For disputes concerning the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
